Error in running app after downlaing from site

I created a small test app from the site, and I have downloaded it from the web. I opened it up in Visual Studios 2012 Ult., and I am getting error box below.  Am I missing a step? Thanks for the help!

No you're not doing anything wrong... Your system doesn't seem to be able to locate a WinJS file. Are you able to build Windows 8 apps using JavaScript on your machine? E.g. File > New > Project Windows Store JavaScript project.
